CAPRICORN Dec 22 - Jan 20
There are
different states of mind and of course there are different modes of
consciousness - at this time you are in at least some measure of the state of rationalizing
consciousness in contradistinction to the intuitive mode of consciousness
including "poetic" states of awareness and creativity. Cognition is the state wherein we know that
we know, that is in contrast to having "hunches" or thinking - but not
knowing - that this or that state might be the truth. And in that vanity the accompanying facts are
usually wanted on the table in the clear light of day. One casualty of the cognitive state of
consciousness is to try to frame things in black or white terms as if there
were no possible grey area or grey constitution. This is the deliberate state where there is
very little room for zombie-type automatic behavior - in other words, the actor
knows what he or she is doing or unfortunately, may have to be told same. In communications definitive thought and
speech will be required or expected.
Anything comatose or dreamy, that is less than fully awake and aware,
certainly may not fit the circumstances or situation at this time. Life may ask you to use deliberation at this
time and to be more definitive in your decisions and communications. At the same time though it would behoove you
to avoid becoming egotistical as your mind may be tempted to trump your soul
based sensitivities currently as the ruler of your character. Using
discernment, constructive discrimination and analytical identification would be
good but those same "hard nosed" facilities should not repress your
emotional attunement to others. At this
time your social role may seem to be or become more clearly defined and
therewith you may be able to get a clearer insight as to your
self-identification, that is what you are and what your "role" in
life might be, including a clearer understanding of what your vocation
involves. Certainly this is a time when
life may ask you to exercise responsibility and reliability. Understanding that one's personal existential
(life) dynamics must operate on the reality principal, which principal
expresses that one cannot incorporate "everything" into one's life
regardless of desire - in other words, living means including or incorporating
activities and drives in general such that some "other" drives may
have to be excluded in order to allow for the necessary time and energy of
those things that are most important. Of
course this also means prioritizing as well as excluding - and those functions
obviously imply the need to choose in the sense of fully processing choices.
